Our Lasers
D&F has 4 lasers in production at this time (3) in Crossville and (1) in Arkansas. Laser output has many benefits over traditional fabrication techniques such as utilizing material more efficiently, reducing waste, higher production rates and human error. Also, your parts are consistent over the long production process as well. Laser cutting also brings in CAD design as a layout option to engineer these drawings and send them directly to the laser so any custom design can easily be run and checked for spec. In our Laser division, we also have our fabrication services outfitted specifically for carbon steel and aluminum (and stainless) for not so common fabrication opportunities for any customer. We can precision cut stainless material up to 1/2" , carbon material up to 3/4" and Aluminum material up to 3/8". Our lasers have cut parts for food processing facilities, military vehicles, agriculture equipment and waste management vehicles to name a few.
